Last Glances

He was sleeping peacefully,
dressed in black,
In the wooden box.
She gives her final looks,
Knowing that he will never come back.
.
Flowers kept besides,
They are beautyful and bright.
Wondering about them,
She has darkness around and no light.
.
He looks in peace,
As he rests forever.
Her happyness,her life.
Suddenly all has came in to cease.
.
She leans to look closer,
Since her childhood,
For her he looked like this never.
Kissing him for the last,
Knowing that after this she never would.
.
Drop of tear,
Travels down from her eye,
And rests besides him.
She lived her life again and again,
The drop sinks below the cushion where his head lie.
.
Its hard to move away,
But he is already gone.
She gets up and stands again,
As he is slowly pushed down, inside earth,
And tomorrow there would be no dawn.
.
They close the casket,
Now all she has memories.
As the earth finally takes him,
All she has are stories.
.
A Friend,A Father,
The stone read.
Concluding his life between two dates,
For her he is still alive,
Even when all called him dead.
